 Special U type

This consists of two Silicon Carbide legs with equal diameter. Each leg is divided into two parts, hot zone and cold zone with a joint. Resistance of both legs are equal to ensure a uniform performance. Both shanks are joined with a crossbar made of low resistance.

 

Double spiral type

Double Spiral Silicon Carbide Heating Elements are made from very dense silicon carbide, featuring a return spiral groove allowing connection at one end. The resistance and allowable surface loadings of the Double Spiral Shape Type are substantially higher than other silicon carbide elements, consequently operating voltages are higher and current draw lower. This feature can lead to significant savings in both control equipment and wiring. Double Spiral Shape elements are energy conserving, convenient and easy to install due to the same-end terminal structure.

General Descreption

The Yuhao program includes several types of SiC heating elements for float baths used in the manufacture of soda-lime flat glass for architectural, automotive and solar-glass applications. Special float sic heater for flat panel display glass are also supplied.
